9 Updating the module internal driver software for Profinet

If the driver for a fieldbus interface like Profinet, Profibus etc. needs to be updated, the user will receive a
new firmware update from us. The user should then carry out a firmware update according to the steps
shown in the WPC help file. After carrying out the firmware update the user needs to perform a few more
steps to update the fieldbus interface driver.

1. Make sure the device is not in the READY state by turning off the ENABLE signal.

2. Go to the WPC terminal window

3.

Type in „SCRDL“ and press the Enter key.

4. The update process will start and will take a couple of minutes to finish.
