VSP600A Administrator and Provisioning Manual
Network Pages
You can set up the VSP600A for your network configuration on the Network pages. Your
service provider may require you to configure your network to be compatible with its
service, and the VSP600A settings must match the network settings.
The network settings are also available as parameters in the configuration file. See
“"network" Module: Network Settings” on page 92
.

If you disable DHCP on this page, you must configure static IP settings for the
VSP600A. You must be familiar with TCP/IP principles and protocols to configure
static IP settings.
Setting
Description
DHCP is selected (enabled) by default, which means the
VSP600A will get its IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway,
and DNS Server(s) from the network. When DHCP is
disabled, you must enter a static IP address for the
VSP600A, as well as addresses for the Subnet Mask,
Gateway, and DNS Server(s).
Static IP
When Static IP is selected, you must enter a static IP
address for the VSP600A, as well as addresses for the
Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS Server(s).
If DHCP is disabled, enter a static IP address for the
VSP600A.
Enter the subnet mask.
