Connect the power adapter to the camera unit 

and a power supply not controlled by a wall 

switch.

NOTES

Check the Wi-Fi coverage of your router. Place the 

camera unit at a desired place.
To maintain compliance with the FCC’s RF exposure 

guidelines, place the IP carmera at least 20cm from 

nearby persons.

Set sound detection on/off:

Take photo or record video

Touch to take a snapshot of the current view.

Touch the video icon on the right below the live 

view to switch to record video mode.
Touch to record a video of the current view.

Touch the camera icon will switch back to take 

photo mode.

Your camera package contains the following

When the blue LED light starts blinking,

of the camera unit for five seconds.

NOTES

The blue and red LED lights on the camera unit blink 

alternately when pairing.
A “vtech connect“ user account can pair up to 20 IP 

cameras.

Motion detection

You can set the motion detection and/or sound 

detection functions on. When the function is on, 

the camera will record a video when it captures 

movement or sound.

Connect the IP Camera

NOTES

Use only the camera power adapter supplied with 

this product.
Make sure the electrical outlet is not controlled by a 

wall switch.
The power adapter is intended to be correctly oriented 

in a vertical or floor mount position. The prongs are not 

designed to hold the plug in place if it is plugged into a 

ceiling, under-the-table or cabinet outlet.
Make sure the camera unit and the power adapter 
cord are out of reach of children.

Make sure you have set up an IEEE 802.11n 

router (not included).

Adjusting the camera angles

You can adjust the camera angles by panning or 

tilting the camera head.

Night vision

The IP camera has infrared LEDs that allow you 

to see the captured views clearly at night or in 

a dark room. When the IP camera detects low 

light levels, the infrared LEDs are switched on 

automatically.

NOTE

When the infrared LEDs are on, the image is in 

black and white. This is normal due to external 

light sources.
