Use
BeforeusingyourVSPROstyler…
•Washyourhair,dryusingahairdryeranduntanglewithalargetoothcomb.
•PlugyourVSPROstylerintothemainsandpressthe‘I/O’button.Thered
indicatorlightwillcomeon:afteraverybriefheat-uptime,yourstyleris
ready to use; the red LED will remain lit throughout use.
Note!
Every time you use your styler, you may notice some steam being
released. This may be from the evaporation of the sebum or the remains of
hairproducts(leave-inhaircare,hairspray,etc.)ordampnessinyourhair.You
will also notice that the unit sputters slightly, this sound is normal for a high
output ion generator.
•Setthetemperatureusingthetemperatureselector.Generally,we
recommendstartingwithalowertemperatureforfine,bleachedand/or
damagedhair,andahighertemperatureforcurly,thickand/ordifficult-to-
style hair. Because every hair type is different, we recommend you set the
applianceatposition1whenyouuseitforthefirsttime.Youcanincrease
the temperature progressively as necessary over the next few uses.
Please use the table for reference:
To straighten your hair
•Takeupasectionofhairabout3-4cmwideandplaceitbetweentheplates
near the roots of your hair.
•Closetheplatesandhold,slidingtheapplianceslowlyfromtherootstothe
tips.Repeatifnecessary.
•Forperfectstraighteningthatfallsvertically,separatethesectionsoffiner
hair and straighten them slowly.
•For‘volumestraightening’,separatethethickersectionsofyourhairand
straightenthemmorequickly.
•Styleyourhairforthefinaltouch.Setthestraighteningwithalittle
hairspray, but do not brush your hair.
To shape the ends
Theprostylercanalsobeusedtoemphasisetheendsofyourhair…
•Tostyleyouhairbyturningtheendsunder,useasdescribedaboveandturn
the unit under, with the rotating barrel under the hair.
•Tofliptheendsofyourhairoutward,usethesamemovebutintheopposite
direction, with the rotating barrel on top of your hair.
•Afteruse,pressthe‘I/O’buttonandunplugtheunit.
To create volume at the roots
•Takeupa3-4cmwidesectionofhair,holdingtheplatesperpendicularto
your head, place your hair between the plates with the rotating barrel under
your hair.
•Closetheunitandmakeaone-quarterturnwiththehair,holdfor1to2
seconds, then slowly slide the unit from the roots to the ends.
•Usetheunitonlyattherootsandifyouwanttostylethesamesectionof
hair again to intensify the effect, wait until it has cooled.
•Whenfinishedstylingtheroots,combyourhairwithawidetoothedcombto
even the waves and generate volume.
To curl your hair
•Takeupa3to4cmsectionofhairandclosetheunitwiththerotating
barrel underneath.
•Holdingtheunitclosed,turnitupwards180°,sothatthewindowonthe
rotating barrel can be seen on top of the section.
•Thengentlypulltotheends,releasethesectionandyouwillhaveasuperb
curl.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON HEAT DAMAGED OR CHEMICALLY
TREATED HAIR ON THE HIGHER HEAT SETTINGS
