10 TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTICE

Do not make any improper changes or modifications to the device.

Never open the housing. Contact the Service department if repairs are
required.
If the device malfunctions or is found to be defective in any other way, even after the
solutions suggested below have been followed, contact the Service department. You
will find the contact details in section
15.

Device not working/
LED not illuminated

Check whether the device is working (see section

Check the socket used. Contact specialist personnel if
repairs are required.
Voltage loss/leakage
from the fence
Remove vegetation from the fence (mow, cut back).
Fence voltage
insufficient
Fence too long in length. Reduce the area or use a more
powerful energiser.
Poor grounding
ऀ
Follow the tips given in section
ऀ
Grounding rod corroded. Remove grounding rod.
ऀ
Defective cables/connections. Replace defective parts.

Indicator LED lights up
red
Fence voltage is below 3000 V. Check your fence for possible
defects.
11 TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

Before transporting the device, pack it in a way that protects it against impacts.
Ideally, you should use the original packaging.

Store the device at an ambient temperature of between ‑10°C and +40°C and
protect the device against moisture.
