Max defroster starts with a certain delay in
order to avoid a short increase in fan level if
the heated windscreen is deactivated by
two quick presses of the button.

defroster from centre display
1. Open climate view in the centre display by
pressing the symbol in the middle of the
climate row.
2. Press

> Max defroster is activated/deactivated
and the button illuminates/extin-
guishes.

remove mist and ice from the window.

In the centre console is a physical button for
rapid access to the heated windscreen.

A triangular area at the end of each side of
the windscreen is not electrically heated,
where de-icing may take longer.
The heated windscreen may affect the per-
formance of transponders and other com-
munication equipment.
