g) Probe tip storage
The multimeter allows for clean storage of the probe tips on the rear of the device. The
probe tips can be clamped in the holders on the rear. This prevents the test leads from
becoming lost.
16. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the household waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove the inserted battery and dispose of it separately from the product.
Battery disposal
As the end user, you are required by law to return all used batteries. They must not be placed in household
waste.
Batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in house-
hold waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead. You can return used batteries to a local recycling point or battery retailer.
That way you fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment!
