Rear Lid Only Opens Approximately One-Third, Electrically Operated Rear Lid, U.S. Only
Technical Background
There are three possible causes
•
Switch for closing rear lid is actuated when rear lid is closed (because either switch or inside trim has been
incorrectly fitted), thus automatically programming an opening height of 31°.
•
Opening angle has been accidentally programmed to 31°.
•
Opening angle has been programmed to 31° as a result of a restricting item such as clothing getting
accidentally caught near switch.
