Check float switch to make sure it is
functioning properly. Replace if defective.
Check solenoid valve #20 to make sure it is not
leaking through. Repair or replace if defective.

High pressure differential during harvest
(suction pressure below 30 psi)

Use a by-pass to relieve the pressure in the
evaporator before opening the main suction
valve. Ensure that the compressor is unloading
properly.

Defrost gas sourced from compressor
discharge (superheated gas)

Connect the defrost gas source to the receiver
as recommended.
Use a by-pass to relieve the pressure in the
evaporator before opening the main suction
valve.

Refrigerant contaminated with water

Test refrigerant or oil for water contamination.
Completely pump the freezer out (pumpdown)
and blow excess water out through the oil trap
