Using the Vivo 65 with the FiO
2
Sensor
The FiO
2
sensor can be connected to the Vivo 65 in order to monitor
and store FiO
2
measurements. The FiO
2
sensor measures the fraction of
inspired oxygen at the air outlet of the Vivo 65. The FiO
2
measurements
will be stored in the data memory which can be downloaded to a PC and
viewed in the Vivo 65 PC software.
The FiO
2
sensor is not intended to be in contact with the patient’s body.
The FiO
2
sensor should be calibrated when first connected and then at
least once a month.
How to connect the FiO
2
Sensor
FiO
2
calibration can be performed by a clinician.
