A push sticker (4) is provided to help push less bulky
branches such as small twigs, leaves and other garden
waste into the feeding hopper.
1.
Place the green waste to be crushed in the hopper (3);
2.
Insert the push stick into the feeding hopper so that the
branches get to the blades;
3.
Wait until the green waste is completely shredded before
feeding in more.
Never put your hands on the feeding hopper.
It is forbidden to remove the hopper.
Unplug the power cord before attaching or removing the
collection box.
You can use the collection box provided or place the
shredder on a tarpaulin to collect the shredded material.
When using the collection box, it is mandatory that it is
placed in the shredder.
The ventilation slots must never be covered.
Before inspecting, performing any maintenance or cleaning
task, unplug the power cord.
The shredder does not require any additional lubrication or
servicing. For a continuous and trouble-free operation, you
must perform regular cleaning and proper maintenance
tasks.
Cleaning
After each use, clean all the components of the garden
shredder. Clean the shredder with a clean, damp cloth or
soft brush. Careful handling protects the power tool and
extends its service life.
The power tool and its ventilation slots must be kept clean.
Clean the ventilation slots regularly or whenever they
become blocked.
Storage
When not in use, store the garden shredder in a dry, clean
place, free of corrosive smoke and out of children’s reach.
The blades have 2 sharp edges. Therefore, they are
reversible in case one of the edges no longer cuts. If both
edges become blunt, the blades are easily replaced and
should be both replaced, as a pair.
Always switch off the shredder and unplug the power
cord before starting.
1.
Loosen the blades’ cover retai
ning bolt (6) and lift the
cover;
2.
Lock the blade disc using a wrench. Unscrew the two
hex-head bolts and keep in mind the position of the
cutting angle of the blade;
3.
Remove the blade and rotate it through 180 degrees;
4.
Fit the blade to the disc, making sure that the cutting
edge is facing downwards;
5.
Repeat the procedure for the other blade.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
waste!
According to the European Directive 2012/19 /EC on
electrical and electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power tools must be
collected separately and delivered to the collection sites
intended for this purpose.
You can get information regarding the disposal of the power
tool through the person in charge for recycling in your city.
