Question/Problem
Solution
The engine does not start:
• No fuel in the carburetor;
• No fuel in the tank;
Clogged fuel pipes;
Fuel pipes badly assembled or folded;
• The fuel in the tank is of poor quality, has water,
is dirty or is already old;
• The cap is off the spark plug;
The ignition cable is not properly connected;
• The spark plug has soot or is damaged;
Wrong distance between the electrodes;
• The air filter is dirty;
• The fuel filter is obstructed;
• The combustion engine is “soaked” due to many
attempts to put it to work;
• Press the carburetor pump several times until it is full
of gas;
• Fill the tank;
Clean the pipes;
Reposition or straighten the fuel hose;
• Empty the fuel tank and carburetor pump;
Use new fuel (proper mixture).
• Place the cap in the spark plug;
Check the connection between the ignition cable and
the plug;
• Clean / replace the spark plug;
Set the distance between the electrodes;
• Clean / replace the air filter;
• Clean the fuel filter;
• Loosen the spark plug and dry it, pull the starter handle
several times with the spark plug untied;
Low performance:
• Wrong fuel mixture;
• Badly adjusted throttle cable;
• Clogged fuel filter, flaw in the carburetor or clogged
valves;
• Use a suitable fuel mixture;
• Adjust the throttle;
• Replace or repair faulty parts;
The engine runs irregularly and produces
smoke:
• Dirty air filter;
• Clean the cooling fins;
The engine is too hot:
• Cooling fins are dirty;
• Clean the cooling fins;
Strong vibration while operating:
• Loose engine housing;
• Tighten the engine fixing screws;
