Never use the unit if the power cord or the
power cord plug is damaged, if the unit works
improperly or after it was dropped.

Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not
disassemble the unit, if any malfunction is
detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website
www.vitek.ru.

Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
In case of the unit transportation or stor-
age under cold (winter) conditions, it is nec-
essary to keep it for at least three hours at
room temperature.
Before switching the unit on for the first time,
make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to
the voltage specified on the unit body.
–
Unpack the unit and remove all package
materials, wipe the grill body with a slightly
damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
–
Release the lock (1) and open the unit, press
simultaneously on the two lower frying plate
locks (6) and remove it, remove the upper fry-
ing plate in the similar way.
–
Wash all the frying plates (7, 8, 9, 10) with
warm water and neutral detergent and wipe
them dry.
–
Before you start cooking, install the required
set of frying plates; to do this, insert the rear
part of the frying plate and simultaneously
press on the front part of the frying plate until
the locks (6) click. Install the second frying
plate as described above.
–
Before using the frying plates for the first time
pour some vegetable oil and spread it over the
cooking surface of the plates, wipe any sur-
plus oil with a paper napkin.
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket;
the indicators (4, 5) will light up.
–
When the frying plates (7, 8, 9 or 10) heat up
to the required temperature, the indicator (5)
will light up; unplug the unit.
–
Wait until the installed frying plates cool down
completely, open the grill and remove the
remaining vegetable oil from the frying plates
with a paper napkin.
Note:
while the first unit operation the heating
elements burn, therefore occurrence of a small
amount of smoke or foreign smell is possible.
It is normal and is not a sign of malfunction.
COOKING PRODUCTS
–
Place the unit on a flat stable surface away
from sources of moisture, heat and open
flame and with free access to the mains
socket.
–
Do not place and do not use the unit near
highly inflammable materials or liquids and
objects subject to thermal deformation.
–
Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.
Using the frying plates:
«7» – a set of griddle plate frying plates intended
for cooking meat, fish or vegetables;
«8» – a set of frying plates for making waffles;
«9» – a set of frying plates for making various
sandwiches;
«10» – a set of frying plates for toasting bread.

Before using the unit make sure that the frying
plates are installed properly and fixed, then
slightly grease the plates with a small amount
of vegetable oil.
Note:
do not use frying plates of different pur-
pose at the same time.
–
Press the handles (2) together and fix them
with the clip (1).
–
Insert the power plug into the mains socket;
the indicators (4, 5) will light up.
–
When the frying plates heat up to the required
temperature and the ready-to-use indica-
tor (5) goes out, release the clip (1), open
the unit and place the food products on the
lower cooking surface. Press the handles (2)
together and fix them with the clip (1).
