Disinfection
Maintenance and service activities
Before use, make sure that all elements do not have any visible mechanical damage. If in
doubt, contact the manufacturer.
• Clean the wheelchair frames with a damp cloth.
• Remove contamination on a regular basis.
• In order to maintain the operational parameters of the product, it is extremely
important to keep all its elements clean and to adapt to the method of its storage.
• Storage in rooms with very high humidity (baths, laundries, etc.), or in the open
air, combined with the lack of hygiene, will result in a rapid loss of functional and
aesthetic parameters.
• Do not expose the wheelchair to extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, very strong
sun), as some elements may change its color.
• The tires are made of a rubber compound, which can leave traces that are difficult to
remove on some types of floor (e.g. plastic, wooden floors, parquet, carpets, lining).
The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by wear of the tires or as a result
of the chemical processes involved in them.
• Use only tires provided by the manufacturer - 8 inch PU.
1. Check and, if necessary, tighten bolts on the front wheels, drive wheels, brakes and
other components. If any problems persist after adjusting the tire pressure, inform
the manufacturer's service department.
2. The battery should be charged at least once a week or when discharged if it occurs
earlier.
3. In the case of a damaged tire, contact the manufacturer's service center. Do not use
the wheelchair with a damaged tire.
4. Do not expose the wheelchair to intense moisture.
5. In order to maintain the operational parameters of the product, it is extremely
important to keep all its elements clean and to adapt to the method of its storage.
If the product is used by several people (e.g. in a nursing home), commercially available
disinfectants should be used. Before disinfecting, clean the upholstery and handles.
Only tested and approved disinfectants may be used for disinfection.
Information on recognized and approved disinfectants and disinfection methods is
available from your national health authority.
