Decimal Separator Compatibility
The Configurator software is
designed to accept only the
period
(“
.
”) as the decimal separator
(i.e., numbers must be entered as
1234.567
).
If your PC is configured to use the
comma
(
1234,567
), the
Configurator will malfunction.
To avoid this, we suggest temporarily configuring your PC to use
US English while you are working with the configurator.
This is easily done using the Windows Control Panel, using the
“Regional and Language Options”. When you are done working
with the Configurator, simply switch back to the correct
language.

C.7 Installing the Configurator
Before using the Configurator, it must be installed on your PC. To
install the Configurator, follow the steps below.
Note If
any
version of the Configurator is already
installed, you
must
uninstall it before attempting to
install this version. Use the “Add/Remove
Programs” feature in Windows Control Panel to do
this.
1. Locate the CD that was provided with your Strata RX.
2. Insert the CD into your computer’s CD drive.
3. Using the “My Computer” icon on your PC (or any
other method), navigate to that CD drive and display
the CD’s directory on your screen.
4. Double-click on the file “Setup.exe”.
5. The Configurator will now self-install, and place an
icon on your desktop.
Program Location
The installation program will prompt you for
the location where the Configurator files will be installed
We recommend accepting the default location of
C:\Program FIles\Strata_RX_Configurator
