Visio 500 as a PC-Workplace 34
Use a standard program like Amcap or VLC player to view images
transferred from Visio 500. You may also save still images and videos. A
special video software named “Visio Capture Tool” is available for free.
Connection Visio 500 via USB
Visio 500 can also connect to a
PC via USB. Visio 500 will be
recognized as a standard camera
device by Windows XP, VISTA, 7,
8, 10 and a MAC. No special
drivers are required.
You can use a standard program like Amcap or VLC player to view
images transferred from Visio 500. You may also save still images and
videos with external software. There is no special software delivered with
Visio 500.
If connected via USB, Visio 500 can also be used as a camera together
with magnification software like ZoomText
™.
Using an external Display with Visio 500
To connect the Visio 500 for
example to a bigger screen, there
is a HDMI-Output port. This port is
marked as “video out” and is the
lower one of the two HDMI-ports.
Connect Visio 500 via HDMI-cable with the external screen to transfer
the camera picture to the screen. You can see exactly the same picture
as shown on the Visio 500 screen.
