Utility menu
here you will find the module icons for a quick check of the modules positions. If the positioning of each
module is correct, press the data entry dial to confirm. The message ‚
Allocation Completed!
‛ will appear on
screen. Press [EXIT] instead to cancel and return to the
UTILITY
page.
BACKUP ALL function
The
Backup All
function is used to save all the instrument's data to a USB flash drive plugged in the USB [TO
DEVICE] connector. The data will appear as ‚BACKUP-XX.L7B‚ files (where XX is a progressive number
between 01 and 99)
in the ‚Legend'70s\BackUp‛ folder of the flash USB drive.
To back up your data, follow this procedure:
1.
Access the
UTILITY
page under the
SYSTEM
menu, then place the cursor on
Backup All
field and press the
data entry dial.
2.
Turn the dial to select a backup number, that will be the name of the .L7B file, then press the dial. The
message ‚
Executing Backup…
‛ will appear on screen.
If the USB flash drive already contains a file with the same name, the screen will show the message:
‚
BACKUP-XX already exists. Overwrite?
‛ asking you if you wish to overwrite the file. Press the data entry
dial to confirm or [EXIT] to cancel.
3.
When the file is successfully saved, the message ‚
Backup Completed!
‛ appears on screen.
RESTORE ALL function
The
Restore All
function is used to reload all the instrument data previously saved through the
Backup All
function to a USB flash drive (connected to USB [TO DEVICE]).
To load the backup data, follow this procedure:
1.
Access the
UTILITY
page under the
SYSTEM
menu, then place the cursor on the
Restore
field and press
the data entry dial.
2.
Turn the dial to select a backup file among those available on the USB drive and press the dial to load the
file. The system will ask for a confirm
ation with the following message: ‚
Reset all data in internal mem. Are
you sure?
‛. If you accept, all the data on the instrument will be irreparably lost. Press the data entry dial to
confirm or [EXIT] to abort.
3.
While loading the data, the system will sho
w the following message on screen: ‚
Executing Restore…
‛.
When the procedure is complete, you will see the message ‚
Restore Completed!
‛
NB
If one of the slots has no module installed, during the iden
tification procedure you must select the ‚empty‛ field for that
slot.
NB
When a backup file is overwritten, all data contained in the file is lost.
