User’s Manual 

E-mail Features on AT Command -mode 

In AT command mode the sending and receiving e-mail are controlled by AT commands (see 
Appendix 4) given from serial port. When sending the e-mail the recipient address and subject of e-
mail can be given on command or the sending operation can be targeted to some of the recipients 
on ESERV-10’s internal phone book. The checking of incoming e-mail can be handled 
automatically by ESERV-10 on predefined intervals when indication of arrived e-mail is given to 
serial port by AT message or the mail is read directly or the mail check procedure can be initiated 
by AT command. 
 
 

COM Port Redirector SW 

Serial/IP runs on your PC and provides access to shared serial lines for Windows-based 
applications. As a client only redirector for remote ESERV device servers Serial/IP uses virtual 
COM ports to create a software cable between your local PC and the remote ESERV device server 
and it's devices.  
 
This software allows you to continue using existing applications that are based on serial 
communication. The difference is that your device can reside on the other side of the globe, but you 
still have complete control. 
 
Tactical Software has developed this application and have partnered with Viola Systems allowing 
us to sell licenses so that you can benefit from our combined expertise.
