Important Safety Warning

- Select the output voltage using with the slide switch on the opposite side
  of RJ45 connectors.
- Use the 12/24VDC output to power a non-PoE device. Be sure to observe
polarity where Red is Positive & Black is Negative.
- Connect a standard Cat5/6 cable of maximum 100m in length from a PoE
switch or Midspan to the Vi22201 DATA+Poe port.
- Connect another Cat5/6 cable to the DATA port of the Vi22201 to a
  non-PoE device.

Ethernet Switch/NVR-end Installation

- The other end of the RJ45 cable needs to be connected to a PoE capable
port of a PoE switch or a Midspan. The PoE port need to be able to provide
enought power to the Vi22201 and its connected PoE device.

should remain readily operable.

The Vi22201 is a PoE splitter that is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af

(15.4W) and IEEE 802.3at (30W) standards. When used with a PoE switch

or PoE Midspan, it separates PoE from Ethernet data and regulates the PoE

high voltage to 12VDC or 24VDC.

It is designed to power Non-PoE IP devices and can provide 12VDC or

24VDC up to 30W. The output voltage is selected by a slide switch.  The

Vi22201 is equipped with over current protection to safeguard connected

devices and can operate at extended temperature of -40°C to +75°C. It is

compact in size and can fit easily in most camera housings. The Vi22201

can be combined with extenders to provide remote DC power over UTP,

Coax or single pair wire at distances up to 3,000 without the need for local

power supplies.

The Vi22201 is capable of meeting the demanding power requirements for

access control, lighting, emergency phone systems and cameras with

heaters/blowers. It is an ideal solution for providing remote power to

non-PoE IP devices and save installation time and cost.
