Parameter
Description
This section allows you to issue ICMPv6 PING packets to troubleshoot IPv6
connectivity issues.
Web Interface
To configure an ICMPv6 PING Configuration in the web interface:
1.
Specify ICMPv6 PING IP Address.
2.
Specify ICMPv6 PING Size.
3.
Click “Start”

IP Address:
The destination IP Address with IPv6.
Ping Length:
The payload size of the ICMPv6 packet. The values range from 2 bytes
to 1452 bytes.
Ping Count:
The count of the ICMPv6 packet. The values range from 1 time
to 60 times.
Ping Interval:
The interval of the ICMPv6 packet.
The values
range from
0 second
to
30
seconds.
Start:
Click the “Start” button, then the switch will start to ping the device using
ICMPv6 packet size what set on the switch.
After you press start, 5 ICMPv6 packets are transmitted, and the sequence number
and roundtrip time are displayed upon reception of a reply. The page refreshes
automatically until responses to all packets are received or until a timeout occurs.
You can configure the following properties of the issued ICMP packets:
PING server 10.10.132.20
64 bytes from 10.10.132.20: icmp_seq=0, time=0ms
64 bytes from 10.10.132.20: icmp_seq=1, time=0ms
64 bytes from 10.10.132.20: icmp_seq=2, time=0ms
64 bytes from 10.10.132.20: icmp_seq=3, time=0ms
64 bytes from 10.10.132.20: icmp_seq=4, time=0ms
