Equivalent to a static pressure of
1 bar.
3. Top up with water until the filling pres-
sure exceeds the pre-charge pres-
sure of the expansion vessel.
On a cold system, the filling pressure
must be approx. 0.2 bar higher than
the static pressure.
4. During commissioning, mark this
value on the pressure gauge as min-
imum filling pressure.
Checking the compressor casing temperature
1. Switch ON the heat pump and oper-
ate it for at least 10 min. 2. Measure the temperature of the com-
pressor casing exterior while it is in
operation.
The compressor must not develop a
layer of ice on its outside, and the
casing must not get hotter than
60 °C (if necessary, check with
Viessmann technical service).
Commissioning the system
Commissioning (configuration, parame-
ter settings and function checks) can be
carried out with or without the commis-
sioning assistant (see following chapter
and service instructions for the Vitotronic
200 heat pump control unit). Note
Type and extent of parameters depend
on the heat pump type, on the selected
system scheme and the accessories
employed.
Commissioning with commissioning assistant
The commissioning assistant guides you
automatically through all the menus
where settings have to be made. For
this, "Coding level 1" is automatically
active.
