Intended use presupposes that a fixed installation in
conjunction with permissible, system-specific compo-
nents has been carried out.
Commercial or industrial use for purposes other than
domestic hot water heating shall be deemed inappro-
priate.
Any usage beyond this must be approved by the man-
ufacturer in each individual case.
Incorrect usage or operation of the appliance (e.g. the
appliance being opened by the system user) is prohibi-
ted and will result in an exclusion of liability. Incorrect
usage also occurs if the components in the heating
system are modified from their intended function.
Note
The appliance is intended exclusively for domestic
use, i.e. even users who have not had any instruction
are able to operate the appliance safely.

Vitocal 060-A, type WWK
Enamelled, externally heated DHW cylinder with inte-
gral heat pump for DHW heating. A dry well heater is
integrated for DHW reheating.
Vitocal 060-A, type WWKS
Type WWKS includes the function range of type WWK.
In addition, a solar thermal system or external heat
generator (e.g. oil/gas boiler) can be connected. The
dry well heater is available as an accessory.
Operating modes
The DHW heat pump is available for
recirculation air

with air discharge to the outside

Recirculation air mode
In recirculation air mode, the ambient air (indoor air) in
the installation room is used for DHW heating.
When DHW is being heated, the installation room is
cooled and dehumidified.
Recirculation air mode with air discharge to the
outside
Ambient air from the installation room is supplied to the
DHW heat pump. A separate outdoor air aperture
simultaneously allows outdoor air to enter the installa-
tion room.
The ambient air that is cooled down during DHW heat-
ing is routed outdoors by the DHW heat pump.
Outdoor air mode
Outdoor air is supplied to the DHW heat pump via a
duct.
The outdoor air that is cooled down during DHW heat-
ing is routed outdoors by the DHW heat pump.
