Preparation
■
Clean flue gas routes and chimney at least 3 days
before testing.
■
If the Lambda probe shows less than 20 % O
2
when
cold, clean the Lambda probe and calibrate.
■
Operate the boiler for at least 24 hours between
cleaning and testing.
■
Allow boiler to cool down before testing.
Note
For "Cleaning the Lambda probe", see page 77.
For "Calibrating the Lambda probe", see page 129.
Test point
For the test point, please note:
■
Measuring head positioned in core flow
■
Not directly next to the flue gas fan
■
Not upstream of a flue bend
■
If installed in the test route: Tightly close the chimney
damper/draught stabiliser.
■
Calming stretch upstream of the test connector:
Total 3 x
7
of the flue pipe
–
To the last pipe bend: Min. 2 x
7
–
To the flue outlet: Min. 1 x
7
■
Calming stretch downstream of the test connector:
At least 1 to 2 x
7
of the flue pipe
Testing
For consistent test results, continuous heating opera-
tion is essential. Avoid modulating heating operation.
In test mode, the boiler heats with a constant output
until the maximum boiler water temperature has been
reached.
1.
In order to avoid modulating heating operation,
heat transfer must be ensured.
2.
Recommendation:
■
Start the boiler and heat for approx. 45 minutes
■
Boiler water temperature
≥
60 °C
3.
In the standard menu, activate
|
/
~
for
"Test
mode"
.
The display shows
"Preparation"
. The boiler
heats until load operation.
"Test active"
appears as soon as constant heating
operation has been reached.
4.
Carry out emissions test.
5.
Confirm
"Terminate"
with
d
to end the emissions
test manually.
Note
Test mode is automatically terminated when the
test duration has passed or the maximum tempera-
ture has been reached. The boiler subsequently
switches to control mode.
On the menu point "Test mode":
■
"Information"
: Display of temperatures, O
2
value,
etc.
■
"Test duration"
: Set time and confirm with
"OK"
.
Test duration then begins afresh. When the boiler
starts, the test duration is set to 60 minutes.
Confirming maintenance
Perform "Maintenance
reset
" after
servicing
.
The maintenance interval is the number of hours run
until the next maintenance and can vary depending on
fuel quality.
The following displays appear in sequence in the
"Maintenance"
menu:
■
"Maintenance status"
–
Next service (date, hours run)
–
Hours run (full load, partial load)
■
"Overview"
–
Last 5 services
■
"Maintenance reset"
(confirm maintenance)
