CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE
REMEMBER! Unplug the power cord from the mains before cleaning or maintaining the air purifier.
REMEMBER! Do not immerse the appliance housing (8) in water! Risk of damage and electrocution!
REMEMBER! The air purifier filters and air quality sensor should be cleaned at least every two months. If these
components are heavily dirty or used you should clean them more often.
1.
Clean the air purifier housing (8) and the front panel (1) with a clean, soft and dry cloth. You
may use it with a little of water; if so, wipe the air purifier dry afterwards. Use neutral/gentle
domestic detergents to remove persistent grime. Thoroughly clean the air filter chamber and
the air vents.
2.
Gently vacuum the prefilter (2) and then wash it with lukewarm water and dry. If mechanical
damage is found replace the prefilter.
3.
The HEPA filter (3) and carbon filter (4) can be cleaned with a brush with a very gentle bristle.
Be very careful so as not to damage the filters. Do not submerge the filters in water, clean
them without any liquids. The air purifier is equipped with the filter replacement indicator. It
is indicated by the pulsating air purifier switch LED (6m). Reset the indicator when the filters
are replaced pressing and holding the “Reset” button (6e) for at least 5 seconds. However, the
filters should be replaced at least every 12 months even if the air purifier does not indicate
that they must be replaced.
4.
The photocatalytic filter (5) should be replaced every 3 years. However, you should regularly
expose it to sunlight (at least 2 hours). It will ensure it is fully operational.
5.
The air quality sensor should be cleaned as follows:
