Information on drinking water filter
According to DIN 1988-2, a drinking
water filter should be installed in systems
with metal pipework. We also recom-
mend the installation of a drinking water
filter when using plastic pipes, according
to DIN 1988, to prevent contaminants
entering the DHW system.
Safety valve
Protect the DHW cylinder with a safety
valve against unduly high pressure.
Recommendation: Install the safety
valve higher than the top edge of the cyl-
inder. This protects the valve against
contamination, scaling and high temper-
atures. The DHW cylinder does not then
need to be drained when working on the
safety valve.
Connecting a heating/cooling circuit, if required
The connection is made via the NC-Box
(accessory).
For area cooling systems (e.g. under-
floor heating circuit, chilled ceiling), pro-
vide an
on-site
contact humidistat.
Requirements of the contact humidistat:
■ Electrical connection: 230 V~, 0.5 A
■ Installation inside the room to be
cooled at the cooling water flow
(remove thermal insulation if neces-
sary).
■ If several rooms with different relative
humidity are part of the cooling circuit,
fit and connect several contact humidi-
stats in series.
Switching contact as N/C contact.
Electrical connections
Routing cables to the connection area
Danger
Damaged cable insulation can
cause injury and damage to the
appliance.
Route cables so that they cannot
touch very hot, vibrating or sharp-
edged components.
Danger
Incorrectly routed wiring can lead
to serious injury from electrical
current and result in equipment
damage.
