Congratulations on your purchase of the Vie Art
fabric shaver. The fabric shaver has two handle
positions for comfortable and efficient use
and is conveniently rechargeable by USB cable
enabling you to bring it with you wherever you
go (travel, office or cottage).
Your clothes, upholstery and throws will look like
new again.
Please read all instructions prior to use.

HOW TO USE

1. Fabric shaver is not suitable for all fabrics and materials. Avoid using the device on soft fabrics or
fabrics with textured design.
2. Shaver is designed for the removal of balls and thread ends from garment and home furnishings
only. We hereby disclaim all liabilities or consequential damages if shaver is issued for any other
purposes.
3. Before using the fabric shaver, test on a hidden area of the fabric to be shaved.
4. When shaving, place garments on a flat and stable surface. Always tug away raised loops inside the
garment and avoid using fabric shaver on corners and edges of garments.
5. To shave, press the ON/OFF button. Move the head of the unit lightly over the fabric to remove fuzz,
pills (nubby fabric clusters caused by friction) and pulled threads. Press “OFF” when completed.
6. Empty the storage bin after every use, or when the storage bin is half full. To remove storage bin
twist the cap counter-clockwise and remove. After emptying, replace the storage bin.

CHARGING
1. Use, charge and store the appliance at room temperature only.
2. Connect the USB cable to the appliance first, and then plug into USB power supply of your choice.
3. The indicator light will remain red during the charging time. Full charge takes 8 hours.
4. When fully charged, remove from power supply and use according to above instructions. Run time
is 45 minutes on a full charge.

MAINTENANCE
Over time, the shaver performance may have affected. To regain performance, maintenance may be
achieved by cleaning the cutting blades. To clean the blades, please carefully follow these instructions:
1. Be sure the appliance is turned OFF.
2. Remove the protective cap by turning it counter-clockwise.
3. Remove the cutting blade/fan assembly by gently pulling it out. WARNING: Extreme care should
be taken when handling the sharp blades.
4. Clean the cutting blades with a soft brush removing any build up from the cutting edges.
5. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of the above steps.

1. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety;
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection
facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems
available. When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to
take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
