Installation of the V960D-ADAPT Adapter
The illustration below explains the installation of the V960D-ADAPT Adapter, which allows the V960D Series
of Indoor Camera Domes to be installed onto a 4x4 electrical box. The kit includes the adapter with gasket
and the screws required to attach it to the 4x4 electrical box. Refer to the installation manual for the V960D
camera, XX224-30, for complete installation instructions.
1. Align the two (2) holes on the V960D-ADAPT to the two (2) tabs on the electrical box and secure
using the two (2) 8-32 flathead screws. Refer to Figure above.
2. Turn the camera mounting base clockwise to detach it from the camera dome assembly.
3. Align the two (2) holes on the camera mounting base with the two holes on the adapter plate and
secure with the two (2) 8-32 pan-head screws. Refer to Figure above.
4. Reattach the camera dome assembly to the camera mounting base, turning it counter-clockwise.
