and 3) to “Turn Off Laser” 

 

Disconnect the jumpers from 

the coupler and connect the 

20m launch cable from the 

ONA-800 OTDR port to the fiber 

pair under test using a duplex 

LC coupler. Also connect the  

“receive cable” to the other 

port on the duplex coupler.  

This receive or run out cable 

will give the OTDR visibility to 

the last connection that will be 

part of the system.
