4.9.3.3 Smart-phone with Data Tethering

The CX300 can be accessed remote from a smart-phone that supports data tethering. The 

remote connection requires using the smart-phone as a WiFi hotspot, or using a USB 

cable. 

Figure 4-3

4.9.4 Launching the Smart Access Utility

The following must be completed to use the Smart Access Anywhere utility:

•

Establish a connection from a PC or mobile device to the CX300.

•

Launch the utility on the CX300 to obtain the required remote access code.

•

Launch the utility on your PC or mobile device, then enter the remote access code 

that was obtained from the CX300.
