Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)

A VLAN is a group of devices on one or more networks that are configured to 

communicate as if they were connected to the same wire. VLANs are identified by an 

identifier (VLAN ID) which is a number between 0 and 4095.
When the 

VLAN check box

 is enabled, the CX300 can be connected to a VLAN. 

The 

VLAN ID field

 defines the VLAN ID assigned to the CX300.

route packets that are not on the same subnet.

Enter the address of the DNS server.
