VOD

Video on demand (VOD)
If you have connected your box to the Internet (see page 15), you can download and view
additional programmes whenever you want . Some programmes are free to download;
others are chargeable and the cost will appear on screen . The charges for any programmes
you purchase will also be shown on your subscriber invoice .
To use VOD, press MENU and then use
L
or
R
to select one of the four VOD services:
‘Viaplay’, ‘Viasat Film’, ‘Videostore’ or ‘Play Channels’ .
Choosing a programme to download
Use
U D
and OK to choose a category and sub-category, until a list of available
programmes appears .
Highlight the programme you want to view and press OK . If there is a charge to download
the programme, you must first confirm your purchase by entering your PIN code .
Note
If you have already downloaded the programme, you will see a message telling you that it is ready to
play back .
Depending on your VOD settings, the programme may start playing back automatically, or
you may see a reminder that the programme is ready to play back .
You can see the status of programmes that you have downloaded, or are currently
downloading, in your Planner (see page 26) .
Promo Link programmes
To the right of the normal category list on the VOD screen, there are links to other lists
of programmes that may be of interest to you . Use
L R
and OK to highlight and select
the link you want .
The list of promoted programmes appears on screen .
