Viasat TV-Module ”Quick Installation Guide”
Please follow the steps in the order presented to avoid issues with installation.
1. Make sure that your TV is a Viasat Approved TV. You can check whether your TV is
approved by going to your local Viasat website.
2.
Make sure that your TV is configured correctly:
i)
your TV is connected to your
satellite dish with the antenna cable, ii) your TV is connected to the Internet, iii) your
TV is updated with the latest software and iv) your TV has an available CI+ slot. Please
check your TV manual for configuration and to identify the CI+ slot.
3.
Perform a channel satellite search for SES 5 (5° E) or Astra 4A (4.8° E). Please check
your TV manual for how to perform the satellite channel search.

After a successful channel search, tune to any Viasat channel (no video will be
available).
*If your TV is not approved by Viasat, we cannot guarantee that the services will work and
thus cannot provide support.
5. Please note your Viasat TV-Module and Smart Card number. Connect them according
to the picture on page 3 and insert into your TV’s CI+ slot.
6. Please follow the instructions on the screen for how to pair your TV-module with your
Smart Card and press Yes when asked to install Viasat channel package*.
7. A message should now appear on screen asking you to approve installation of the
Viasat operator profile and channel list. Please press yes.
You have now successfully completed installation of your Viasat TV package. Don’t
forget to download Viaplay from your TV’s appstore to access even more content on-
demand.
If you encounter issues with the installation of your TV-Module, please call Viasat
Customer Support. For any other issues, please consult your TV manual.
* You may be asked twice depending on your TV-model.
