INSTALLATION OF DEVICE DRIVER
There is a CD which comes with the mainboard. The CD contains the device
drivers which is necessary when installing the mainboard. Please refer to the
following procedures to install the device drivers.
A. Install the Mainboard driver:
Step 1. Insert the CD into the CD ROM drive.
Step 2. Change the directory to "\Driver\mainboard\VIA\Pentium II "
Step 3. Run "SETUP.EXE" to install the
device driver.
B. Install the Sound card driver:
(optional)
If you found that the sound interface is installed on the mainboard,
please use the following procedure to install the device driver the
ES1938S Solo1 chip installon the board
Step1. During the installation of Windows or when you select "refresh" in the
Windows' system manager, Windows will detect the sound interface
and request for the sound card device driver. Insert the CD into the CD
ROM drive and specify the directory to complete the installation of
sound card device driver.
Step2. Select "Driver\Sound\ESS\Solo 1\rackap\setup.exe" directory
Step3. Run "SETUP.EXE" to install the "RACK PLAYER" utility.
