JUMPERS
When you have different devices connected to the mainboard, you may have to
change some of the hardware settings so that the mainboard will work properly in
your PC system. Basically, the hardware configuration can be made by either
jumper setting or switch setting. This section will discuss the jumper and switch
settings on this mainboard.
JUMPER SETTINGS:
A jumper is a set of two, three or more jumper pins which allows users to make
different system configuration by putting the plastic type connector plug (mini-
jumper) on it. The jumper setting is necessary when installing different components
onto the mainboard. In order to let you have better idea of the jumper setting,
please see below for the explanation of jumper settings before you start this
section.
