Note

Failure due to fatigue may occur
if the motor’s bearings and
output shaft are subject to
repeated loading by an overhung
or thrust load that is in excess of
the permissible limit.

Overhung load and thrust load

The overhung load on the motor’s output shaft or gear output shaft must be kept within the
permissible values listed below.
The thrust load must not exceed the motor’s mass.

• The square box in the unit type will contain a value representing the gear ratio.

Calculate half the motor’s mass for this value.
