Replacing the VETTER SmartFork

®

1.

Prepare the lifting device for large loads, e.g. indoor crane and lifting straps. The

work is to be carried out by 2 people.

2.

Align the VETTER Smart

Fork

®

 parallel to the ground.

3.

Raise the VETTER Smart

Fork

®

 up from the ground by raising the fork carriage until

it is no longer in contact with the ground. Secure the fork carriage against unin-

tended lowering.

4.

Disconnect the plug connections between the VETTER Smart

Fork

®

 applications

and the corresponding cables of the lift mast connector.

5.

Remove moveable cables from the immediate assembly area and protect them

against damage.

6.

Open the VETTER Smart

Fork

®

 locking device. To do so, move the lever of the

locking device vertically upwards.
