Delivery state
In delivery state, the device is already installed on the fork head in the
housing panel and correctly wired.

Inserting and replacing the battery
NOTICE!
Always use the specified battery!
Using batteries with a different rated capacity or installation form can
result in the failure of, or damage to, the system.
All 18 V variants of the GBA series manufactured by Bosch can be used.
Using batteries from other manufacturers is only permitted following con-
sultation with VETTER Industrie GmbH
Checking the battery’s charge level
The batteries recommended for use generally have a button for showing
the charge level via an LED display. The button and display are located
on the front of the battery and can also be used when the battery is con-
nected.
