When the power is on, the LEDs on the front of the Vess R2000 light up.

When boot-up is finished and the Vess is functioning normally:

Power

Global Enclosure Status

Global RAID Status

LEDs display green continuously.

Controller Activity

LED flashes green when there is controller activity.

•

System Heartbeat

LED blinks blue (once a second), and repeats the pattern.

Steady

means the LED is on.

Blinking

means a regular on/off pattern.

Flashing

means an intermittent and irregular on/off pattern.

Dark

means the LED is off.
