Inactivity of the vehicle

The following operations are recommen-
ded:
1
. Clean the scooter thoroughly and then
cover it with a canvas;

. With the engine off, remove the spark
plug and pour 1 - 2 cm³ of oil through its
hole (greater quantities are harmful to the
integrity of the engine itself). Operate the
starter button 1-2 times for roughly 1 sec-
ond to turn the engine over slowly, then
insert the spark plug again;
3
. Drain all the fuel from the scooter;
spread anti rust grease on the uncoated
metal parts; keep the wheels lifted above
the ground by resting the chassis on two
wooden wedges;
4
. As regards the battery, follow the in-
structions in the «Battery» section.

Inactividade do veículo

Aconselha-se que efectue as seguintes
operações:
1
. Efectue a limpeza geral do veículo e,
sucessivamente, cubra-o com um pano;
2
. Com o motor parado, desmonte a vela
e introduza pelo furo desta 1 ÷ 2 cm³ de
óleo (quantidades superiores podem da-
nificar o próprio motor). Accione 1-2 ve-
zes o botão de arranque por cerca de 1
segundo fazendo completar lentamente
algumas rotações no motor, depois re-
monte a vela;

. Esgote todo o combustível do veículo;
aplique massa lubrificante antiferrugem
nas partes metálicas não pintadas; man-
tenha as rodas elevadas em relação ao
piso, apoiando o chassi sobre dois calços
de madeira;

. Para a bateria, siga as instruções apre-
sentadas no parágrafo «Bateria».
