Ringing tones
Your Vertu phone comes with a variety of exclusive ringing tones. You can
also download files in AAC, MP3 and MIDI formats from a compatible PC or
a website and use them for use as ringing tones.
Changing the ringing tone:
Use the following procedure to change the ringing tone:
1. From the Home screen, select
Menu

.
(Or select

2. Press the [Joystick] key (Down) and move the cursor to
Ringing tone
.
3. Select
Change
(the [Joystick] key, centre).

When you select

, a list of ringing tone files saved in the
Tones
»
Ringing tones
folder in the Gallery (page 46) appears.

When you select
Change
instead, you can move the [Joystick] key right and
left to select
Open Gallery
. In this case, a list of all Gallery folders appears.
Select one of the folders that includes files that can be used as ringing tones.

and download ringing tones from the web.
4. Move the [Joystick] key upward or downward to select the desired
ringing tone.

Leave your cursor above a ringing tone for a second or so to listen to a
preview. Repeat this process to find a ringing tone you would prefer. When
you have it, press the centre [Joystick] key to select it.
5. Select
Options

Save
to save the settings.
Media player
Launch Media player to play various music files, video clips, ringing tones
and recorded sound clips.
These files can be transferred to your Vertu phone from a compatible PC
using Vertu PC Suite (page 52). In addition, when a USB data cable (page
56) is connected, you can also select
Data storage
or
Printing & media
from the “
Select USB mode:
” screen that appears on your phone's display
when the cable is connected. This will allow you to transfer necessary files
(including video clips or music files) back and forth between the internal
memory card and your PC, or to synchronise the music files on your
internal memory card and on your PC.
To start Media player, select

from the
Home screen. Music files that you transfer to your Vertu phone are
automatically added to the media file list in Media player. If the media file
list is not automatically updated even after adding music files to your Vertu
phone, select

to manually update the media library.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth enables you to wirelessly connect with various devices. When
you are connected, for example, with a compatible Bluetooth device, you
can wirelessly send and receive image and video files. You can also
connect a Bluetooth headset to listen to music or engage in phone
conversations. You first need to pair with the other device. Your Vertu
phone and the other device should be within 10 metres of each other.

menu to search other Bluetooth devices that can
be connected. Then, pair your phone with any of the detected devices by
entering the four to sixteen digit passcode agreed beforehand with other

Tip:
To mute the speakers while on the Media player screen, press the
[ # ] key. To completely stop Media player while music is being played,
press and hold the [End] key.
