3. CHAPTER 1 - PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

3.1. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

3.1.1. OVERVIEW

The Vertiv Upgradeable (GU) PDU gives data center managers the flexibility to install the intelligence re-
quired today, with the option to upgrade technology as needs evolve. From basic power to power monitor-
ing, the Vertiv Upgradeable product line adapts to a business' needs now and in the future.

To establish this upgrade path, Vertiv engineers took the robust PDU design and incorporated an Inter-
changeable Monitoring Device (IMD). Vertiv PDUs last for many years, and with the IMD design, busi-
nesses will be able to upgrade their PDUs to newer monitoring technologies in the future without having to
replace the entire PDU. The hot-swappable IMD can be changed out in a few simple steps, without inter-
rupting power to critical servers.

3.1.2. ENVIRONMENTAL

The operational environmental limits pertaining to Temperature, Humidity and Elevation are as
defined below.
