Audio connections
One audio output device (such as a paging or public address system) can be plugged into the
audio output port. One audio input device (such as a music-on-hold system) can be plugged into
the audio input port. These ports are shown in Figure 18-1.
You must use a cable with a stereo plug to connect your music-on-hold device to the Wave IP
500 Server chassis. If this cable is not provided with the device, you need to purchase a separate
cable. For more information about connecting audio devices, refer to Appendix B, “Connecting
Audio Devices.”
