. The system displays the Call Handling

menu.

3. Highlight

Category 3

and press

Enter

. The system displays the Call Handling—Category 3 menu.

4. Highlight

Fax Ring Time

and press

Enter

to select how many seconds you want the system to ring a fax line

before dropping the call. Valid options are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. The default is 10 seconds.

5. When you are done, press

Esc

to return to the Database Programming screen. The system prompts: “Exit

This Feature?”; press

for yes.

6. The system prompts “Save Current Setting?” Press

to save your changes.

7. The system then prompts “File Exists, Override?” Press

to continue with the save operation.

8. Press

Esc

to return to the Database Programming menu.

9. When you have finished all programming changes, perform a Send operation to copy your new database to

the DX-80 switch system memory. For more details, see Section 2.1.4.4,
