4. Highlight the

FAX Destination

field for the CO line port (4, 8, 12, or 16) that you want to receive fax trans-

missions. Press

Enter

5. Key in the directory number of the analog port that is connected to the FAX machine, then press

Enter

Valid numbers include any analog extension port directory number. The default is NONE.

6. In the same manner, assign fax destinations for other CO Line ports as needed.

7. When you are done, press

Esc

to return to the Database Programming screen. The system prompts: “Exit

This Feature?”; press

for yes.

8. The system prompts “Save Current Setting?” Press

to save your changes.

9. The system then prompts “File Exists, Override?” Press

to continue with the save operation.

10. Press

Esc

to return to the Database Programming menu.

11. When you have finished all programming changes, perform a Send operation to copy your new database to

the DX-80 switch system memory. For more details, see Section 2.1.4.4,
