Using Wave Phone Features
Wave Phone User Guide
Call Record
Call Record records the currently active call and saves it as a WAV file to a voice mailbox. The
maximum length of a recording equals the maximum length of a Voicemail message. The
Call
Record
button is a programmed button; contact your System Administrator for additional
information.
Warning:
In many localities, it is illegal to record a phone call without first notifying the person
or persons being recorded. Contact your System Administrator for information about call
recording guidelines.
Recording a Call [D] / [A]
DIGITAL PHONES
To Use Call Record
1.
Notify the person or people with whom you are speaking that you are about to
record the call (see Warning above).
2.
Press
Call Record
.
To End the Recording Session
3.
Press
Call Record
again.
Note:
Using another phone feature will end a call recording session.
You access the recording in the same way you access Voicemail messages. See
for details.
ANALOG PHONES
To Use Call Record
1.
Notify the person or people with whom you are speaking that you are about to
record the call (see Warning above).

To End the Recording Session
