4. Remove the chain from the fixed end
position.
4.1 Remove the locking screw (1).
4.2 Free the chain of all tension.
4.3 Push out the pin (2) that holds the
chain in place.
You can push out the pin using, for
example, a piece of wire. You can also
use a tool that has a diameter of
maximum 3 mm (0.12 in).

5. Remove the hook and the hook block by
pulling the chain out through the hook
block.
You do not need to open the hook block to
remove or to replace the chain.
6. Remove the chain from the chain hoist by driving the motor in the direction UP.
