Grasp an expansion DIMM card by the edges and remove it from the
anti-static package. Do not touch the components or gold fingers on the
card.

Position the DIMM card over a socket. Align the notch on the bottom edge
of the DIMM card with the key in the DIMM socket. (B)

Push the card straight down (C).
■
Slide the side retaining clips towards the card (D).
■
Verify that the retaining clips are inserted properly (E).

Put on an ESD-compliant wrist strap or take other ESD-protective measures.
