VERITAS NetBackup 5230 Hardware Installation Manual Download

Locate the left rail, with the

at the front end. The

faces the left side wall of

the rack, not the center of the rack.

Guide the rail into the two holes in the one RU that you selected.

Hook the silver peg on the front of the rail into the top hole in the RU.

Snap the blue peg on the front of the rail into the bottom hole in the RU.

Repeat steps 3 to 6 for the rail on the right side of the rack.

Verify that both rails are parallel and fastened securely.

allows proper weighting of the rack.
