out from the right, rear panel of the storage shelf.

Appliance and storage shelf connections
When more than one storage shelf is used, SAS cables connect the second shelf
to the first shelf. The second shelf is not physically connected to the appliance.
Network cables for use with Fibre Channel ports or Ethernet ports are not provided.
Customers must supply any Fibre Channel or Ethernet cables.
The following figure shows the cable connections between the appliance and the
storage shelves.
Table 1-8 defines the numbers that are used in the drawings.
