to an operational NetBackup 52xx appliance
If you have a NetBackup 52xx appliance that currently includes one Veritas Storage
Shelf, you can expand the disk storage of the appliance by adding another Veritas
Storage Shelf.
NetBackup appliance software versions 2.5 - 2.6.0.2 let you connect up to two
Veritas Storage Shelf units. Appliance software version 2.6.0.3, and later, supports
up to four Veritas Storage Shelf units can be connected.
Note:
Additional tasks are required when a new storage shelf is added to an
appliance that does not already have a storage shelf. When you place this order,
an onsite service technician and additional required parts are also ordered.
Adding an additional Veritas Storage Shelf to an operational appliance requires
